RHYTHM DOGS ("STOMP" PERFORMING GROUP)
Rhythm Dogs is an excellent example of what happens when you combine movement, percussion, theater, dance and drums!!!!
The Rhythm Dogs are a group of very creative youth and young adults who help promote Boise City’s Healthy Communities, Healthy Youth Initiative. They range in age from 13 years to 20 years and use very interesting objects as their musical instruments: buckets, highway signs, beat-up highway barrels, garbage cans, bicycle bells, etc.
The Rhythm Dogs are in their seventh year of performing and have become nationally known.
The “Dogs” perform at family focused community events, at youth events, and at school assemblies. They assist the Boise Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Boise in promoting healthy choices for youth.
Rhythm Dogs Philosophy: Make the most of what you’ve got!! Let your light shine!!
Hand Talk will have more information on this event as it gets closer! If you have any questions please email us at: handtalk@idahodeaf.org
